What happened to elegance?

It seems to have completely vanished along with fur muffs and veiled hats.
“Elegance springs from the habits of a civilized culture” one author writes. We seem to have the civilized but lost the elegance en route. While we could discuss various kinds of elegance (bearing, language, home decoration etc) I want to hone on my specialty- fashion.
We’re going to embark on a journey to discover how we reinvent elegance for our modern day wardrobes. How YOU as fashion diva can display the traits of a truly graceful and sophisticated woman without being stuck in the 1950s. Prepare to turn your imagination inside out and delve into every aspect of your wardrobe and where it needs improvement- beginning with your attitude.
Famed stylist Genevieve Antoine Dariaux explains: “To be elegant is first of all to know oneself, and to know oneself well requires a certain amount of reflection and intelligence.”
Essentially, elegance requires maturity.
